A political condition, unique to Memphis, TN, that occurs after the will of 66% of the people is thwarted by a three-way race that continues the Administration of W.W. Herenton, despite widespread dissatisfaction with his job performance.
Herenton’s campaign slogan was “Shaking the Haters Off” for those of you out of towners. If anyone has a photo of his people at the polls in one of those shirts, I sure would like it.
