Baby, Bath Water, and Throw

Last night’s grand delegate split did exactly nothing to help add some clarity to the 2008 Democratic nomination process. With just over 600 state delegates left to divvy up I have to wonder if any of this will come into focus before the convention in August. RIght now it’s not looking so good.

Now, TPM and other outlets are reporting that both the Clinton and Obama camps are ready to go nuclear on each other. That doesn’t bode well for a Democratic victory in November.

The Republican Party would like nothing better than for the Democratic nominating process to do their dirty work before the general even starts. In light of their fund raising problems, it certainly makes life a little easier for them.
